Work 1450 OSR

The Fire and Oil Recovery Vessel Work 1450 OSR is a practical and efficient tool for many duties. The ice-reinforced hull is optimized for maneuvering in ice and the vessel can work in up to 10 cm thick core ice.

The vessel is equipped with a single Scania DI13 engine, a straight propulsion shaft, and a stainless-steel propeller. The OSR equipment is from Lamor and consists of two internal separating skimmers, a pump station for filling oil bags and floating collecting booms on the outside. The fixed mounted hydraulic fire pump produces about 1500 l pm and is handled from the protected aft deck. The vessel is equipped with a Raymarine navigation system and has two touch screen plotters, an open radar, and an individual backup navigation system. Cameras from the deck and engine room increase work security on board.

The wheelhouse is mounted floating and is as silent as 65 dB at full speed. There is good visibility to all sides, and 8 people can be seated easily and comfortably. The wheelhouse also accommodates a pantry. Downstairs, there is a separate toilet and generous storage spaces. The storage floor space is hydraulically lifted to deck level for easy loading.

The aft deck is totally flush and very spacious. A Hiab loading crane enables this multi-task boat to fulfill various work duties.
